Purple: These are the tattoo machines, now before I thought there was only a few different types of machines. Vaseline is also used underneath the ink wells to keep them still when the artist needs to dip the needles into them.ĭark Blue: These are the ink wells, there are different sizes for artists preference. Vaseline is used on the skin to make the tattooing process smoother, helps the needles drag along the skin when doing shading and lining. ![]() Bacteria can make contact with the ink that goes directly into the skin making risks for infection and contamination. Yellow: Colors and inks that are used for tattooing, when interacting with the bottles do NOT touch the tip of the bottle and constantly wipe it to keep it clean. Blood, ink could’ve gotten on the motor, so you wrap the motor in a plastic wrap to keep it clean. Orange: Wrap the motor for the tattoo machine. Red: A cup of water to clean the machines when switching colors. Going through all of the circled colored objects: It also helps the plastic wrap stick to the table as well as keeping it all clean. You spray the stainless steel stations with disinfectant. First thing in the morning is setting up the stations.
